This was the most epic way to end our trip. What an antipasto dish. The best beef carpaccio ever with a mozzarella di buffalo, endless wine. Wow.
Here is the son of the owner in the plaid shirt to the far right..Super cool guy, Half Italian-American. He was an amazing host. It was like we had the whole place to ourselves in the back as you will shortly find out. This was the wildest we got the whole time we were there. We were acting like college kids in TJ.
First the food, some amazing olives in Sicilian olive oil.
Then some bruschetta to prep the palate. This is how you do it, with sardine juice, which is what most places forget about but this is the secret ingredient to an amazing bruschetta.
Look at the thickness of this mozzarella di buffalo. I’m talking some thickness here. Not these little nut sack buffalos we get in the states.
This is my face after eating this.
This puts any cheese in the US to shame, look at that shit. It’s stacked like a brick house. OMFG, this was heaven. Even my cousin couldn’t control himself.
Nice selection of wine here. It was on Wine Spectator as a great location for local Sicilian wine.
Amazing salami and prosciutto with the cheese plate.
But this garlic mortadella killed it!!! Look how moist that is. OMG this was so fucking good!!!!!!!!!
There are times when you are tired and in a shitty mood, and the perfect food and wine comes along and you make a total 180.
Let the good times roll.
We got so rowdy we ended driving everyone else out of the room.
Here is the infamous Mambo Italiano dance!
More Mambo, please!
Here is my cousin mimicking how affectionate I am with my wife Erika.
But wait, there’s more. Let the shit show continue with some XO Cognac and cigars.
This is for anyone who gets too rowdy at the bar. Italian circumcision.
Before this happens to me, I decided it would be better if we went outside.
Not just any cigar, a goddamn Behike. These are basically extinct cigars now. What a moment to have such as great cigar with the people I love, what an epic beginning to one of the most fun days of my life.
Let’s light this Behike up.
Went perfectly with some Modica chocolates. Look at these Goodfellas behind us.
This is when the day started escalating quickly into debauchery.
We just did not give a fuck at this point. This guy was stopping at roadside bars to get us more cocktails for our final Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride through Sicily. We were screaming at people on the streets, just completely reckless. We went out with a bang after our EPIC Italy trip.
Viva la Fiesta. Johnny, What the Fuck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
